What we collect

- To connect you with one licensed mortgage professional in your province who can discuss your options.
- To contact you about your request, by phone, text or email, with your consent.
- To measure and improve our advertising and website.
Who we share it with
We share your information with the licensed mortgage professional matched to your request, who may be paid for the services they provide to you. We also use service providers to run our business, such as our website host (Netlify), our customer relationship software (GoHighLevel) and our advertising platform (Meta). These providers may store information outside Quebec and outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. We do not sell your information to marketers or data brokers.
Your consent
By checking the consent box and submitting our form, you agree that Brightrate and a licensed partner mortgage professional may contact you about your mortgage. You can withdraw your consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or writing to hello@brightrate.ca.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes above, and no longer than [24 MONTHS] after your last contact with us, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Then we delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent. Write to hello@brightrate.ca. We'll reply within 30 days. Cookies and tracking
We use the Meta Pixel to understand which ads lead to form submissions and to show our ads to people who may find them useful. It uses cookies and similar technology. You can limit this through your browser settings and your Meta ad preferences.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who need it.
